Payment methods and invoices

Saifa AI provides simple and secure tools for managing your payment information and invoices. Whether you need to update your card, download past invoices, or troubleshoot billing issues, this guide explains everything you need to know.

🔗 Overview

Saifa AI uses Stripe as a secure payment provider to handle:

  • Payment methods

  • Subscription billing

  • Invoice generation

💳 1. Supported Payment Methods

Saifa AI currently supports the following payment methods:

  • Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express

  • Debit Cards: Bank-issued cards with online payment enabled

  • Corporate Cards

  • Digital Receipts: Automatically sent after each charge

All payments are processed through secure, PCI-compliant providers.

🔐 Saifa does not store your card details directly — all data is tokenized and encrypted.

🧭 2. Updating Your Payment Method

➕ Add a payment method

To add a new card:

  1. Go to Settings → Invoice

  2. Click Edit Billing Info

  3. You will be redirected to the secure Stripe page

  4. Enter your card details:

    • Card number

    • Expiry date

    • CVC

    • Country

  5. Click Add

🔐 All payments are securely processed by Stripe

Common reasons to update your card:

  • Your old card expired

  • Your bank issued a new card

  • You changed company billing

  • Payment failed on renewal

💸 3. Billing Cycles & Charges

Your billing cycle depends on your chosen subscription:

  • Monthly billing: charged every 30 days

  • Yearly billing: charged once per year with discount

You will receive an email receipt whenever a payment is processed.

Proration

If you upgrade in the middle of a billing cycle, Saifa will automatically prorate your remaining balance.

🧾 4. Viewing and Downloading Invoices

All past invoices are stored in your dashboard for easy access.

To download an invoice:

  1. Go to Settings → Invoice

  2. Select Invoice

  3. Click Download PDF for any invoice you need

❌ 5. Handling Failed Payments

If your payment fails, Saifa will:

  • Notify you via email

  • Display a banner in your dashboard

  • Retry the charge automatically

Common reasons for failed payments:

  • Card expired

  • Insufficient funds

  • Bank blocked online transactions

  • Incorrect card details

To fix this:

  1. Update your payment method

  2. Contact your bank to allow the charge

  3. Retry payment from the billing page

If payment continues to fail, your plan may be paused — but your data will remain safe.

🧮 6. Billing for Teams and Workspaces

If multiple members use the same workspace:

  • Only Admins can view and manage billing

  • All invoices are tied to the workspace, not individual accounts

  • Payment methods are shared across the workspace

Workspace switching does not affect your billing.
