Instagram

Connect your Instagram Business account to manage DMs and comments directly from Saifa.

Step 1: Click Connect Instagram

1. Go to Settings → Integrations Setting

2. Find Instagram

3. Click Connect

Step 2: Log in with Facebook (Meta)

• A Facebook window will open

• Click Continue as [your account]

👉 If this is not the correct account: Click “Log into another account”

Step 3: Select Facebook Pages

Instagram is connected via Facebook.

1. Choose:

   • ✅ Opt in to current Pages only (recommended)

2. Select the Page linked to your Instagram account

3. Click Continue

Step 4: Select Instagram Account

1. Choose:

   • ✅ Opt in to current Instagram accounts only

2. Select your Instagram account

3. Click Continue

Step 5: Select Business Access

• Choose:

  • ✅ Opt in to all current and future Businesses (recommended)

👉 This ensures stable connection in the future

Click Continue

Step 6: Review Permissions

You will see permissions such as:

• Access Instagram profile and posts

• Manage Instagram messages

• Manage Page settings and webhooks

• Access connected Pages

👉 Click Save

Step 7: Connection Complete

You will see:

“[Account] has been connected to Saifa AI Integration”

Click Got it

Step 8: Add Instagram Channel in Saifa

Back in Saifa:

1. Select your Instagram profile

2. Click Add

✅ Done!

Your Instagram account is now connected.

• Messages (DMs) will appear in your inbox

• You can assign AI or team to respond

Enable / Disable “Send ‘Purchase’ event to Meta”

1. Go to Settings ⚙️

2. Click Settings on your channel, then toggle Send ‘Purchase’ event to Meta ON / OFF

🔄 Disconnect Instagram

To remove your Instagram channel:

1. Go to Settings → Integrations Setting

2. Find your Instagram account

3. Click Disconnect

⚠️ What happens after disconnect?

• Stop message synchronization

• Remove access to channel history

• Make sure your Instagram is a Business account

• Ensure it is linked to a Facebook Page
